While the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will see the early rumblings of DC’s superhero team, The Justice League, DC’s super villain team will get their own movie before the we see the good guys fully come together.
Warner Bros. has released new character posters for the upcoming super villain team-up film Suicide Squad. Director David Ayer (Fury) tweeted out the poster that features all of the characters in an anarchistic design. Warner Bros. later released posters for each individual character to let fans know about the new trailer premiering Tuesday night during The CW’s block of shows based in the DC universe including Arrow and The Flash.

While DC and Warner Bros. eventually released the comic-con trailer for the movie shortly after it leaked online, they are certainly taking a different approach to their marketing from Marvel and Disney. Marvel has made a habit of focusing promotion attention only on the next film in their universe whereas DC and Warner Bros. are more than willing to promote a film that doesn’t release until nearly five months after Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, on August 5, 2016.
