A new trailer has just been released for the film Vice. The trailer promises to tell the story of how former US vice president Dick Cheney became the man he is today. The trailer also boasts very talented star studded cast including Amy Adams as Cheney’s wife Lynne, Sam Rockwell as George Bush, and other members of the cast include Tyler Perry and Steve Carell. However probably the most remarkable casting choice for this film is Christian Bale as Dick Cheney himself.
It may sound absurd to hear that Christian Bale will be playing the former vice president, since most movie goers probably recognize Bale from his role as Batman. However, the actor also has garnered a reputation for his ability to physically transform himself for his roles, so it might not be too big of a stretch for Bale to portray Dick Cheney. The footage of Bale as Cheney shown in the trailer was enough to impress Vanity Fair.
The film is written and directed by Adam McKay of The Big Short, and is set for a release date of Christmas Day.
