Upcoming ‘Dune’ Movie Adds Oscar Isaac to the Cast

More news about the new upcoming Dune film’s cast has been released. It was just reported in Variety that actor Oscar Isaac would be joining the cast of Legendary Picture’s Dune. Other known cast members include Dave Bautista, Rebecca Ferguson, Timothée Chalamet, Stellan Skarsgard and Charlotte Rampling.

Timothée Chalamet has been cast as Paul Atreides, the protagonist of the film and the original book. Isaac will be playing Leto I Atreides, the father of Timothée Chalamet’s character, and Rebecca Ferguson will be playing Lady Jessica, the mother of Paul Atreides. There has also been some talks about actress Zendeya joining the cast as Chani, a possible love interest for Chalamet’s character. However, as of right now nothing regarding Zendeya joining the film has been confirmed.

Denis Villenueve is directing from a script by Eric Roth.
