Trailers Surface for Michael Bay’s ’13 Hours’

Both an official trailer and a red band trailer have surfaced for Michael Bay‘s (Transformers) upcoming actioner 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. The film, a retelling of the dramatic events at the U.S. Embassy in Libya in 2012, is based on the recently released book by author Mitchell Zuckoff.

Bay’s film stars Pablo Schreiber (Netflix’s Orange is the New Black), John Krasinski (Away We Go), James Badge Dale (HBO’s The Pacific), David Denman (Krasinski’s castmate in TV’s The Office), Max Martini (50 Shades of Grey), and Dominic Fumusa (Showtime’s Nurse Jackie). It is set at the Libyan Embassy in Benghazi during the terrorist attacks of September 2012, when a team of security specialists were charged with protecting the lives of the Americans stationed there.

Chuck Hogan (The Town) adapted Zuckoff’s best-seller for the screen. Paramount is eying a January 15, 2016 release.
