Trailer Released For New Yorgos Lanthimos Feature ‘Kinds Of Kindness’

Following the slew of Oscar wins for Poor Things, Yorgos Lanthimos has premiered a trailer for his brand new movie. The upcoming project is dubbed Kinds Of Kindness.

Kinds Of Kindness has three stories merging into one by the end of its runtime. One of them follows a cop, who attempts to unravel a mystery surrounding his wife, one follows a woman trying to come to spiritual power, and one a man who seeks to make a change within his life.

As IndieWire points out, the new feature brings Lanthimos back into collaboration with a number of talents. Most prominent are leading roles taken by Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe, who both starred in Poor Things, with the former winning Best Actress. The film also brings back Efthimis Filippou to co-write with Lanthimos, with the duo also having written 2015’s The Lobster.

Lanthimos himself has a vast array of directorial credits. On top of Poor Things and The Lobster, some of his works include The Killing Of A Sacred Deer and Dogtooth, among many others. As well as directing, Lanthimos also has co-written the screenplays for several films of his.

IndieWire also pointed out that Kinds Of Kindness was kept under wraps during its production, with its filming falling after Poor Things.

Kinds Of Kindness is slated to hit theaters June 21st. Check out the trailer below.
