Good news for Kingsman fans: there’s a new trailer out for Kingsman: The Golden Circle! Produced by Fox, the long-awaited sequel to the comedic spy thriller seems to offer an exciting plot, just like its R-rated predecessor. Even better, it seems to have brought fan favorite Harry Hart, played by Colin Firth, back from the dead.
The film seems to have more surprises yet, adding newcomers to the franchise such as Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, and Halle Berry, who seem to work for the American version of the Kingsman, called “The Statesman”. Along with returning characters played by Taron Egerton and Mark Strong, they must work together to bring down the villain played by Julianne Moore, who very directly states her desire to end the Kingsman.
Judging from what’s been shown in the trailer, the film will give audiences just as much action as the first movie did. It helps that director Matthew Vaughn is returning, allowing the film a better chance at maintaining its characteristic style. Hopefully this will keep it from stagnating, as a a far amount of sequels tend to do. Still, the trailer looks promising, and the movie may perform just as well as the original, if not better.
More good news for fans: the film will be hitting the big screen on September 22nd of this year.
