Trailer for ‘The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards’ Starring Natalie Portman

The trailer for The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards has just been released. The Elysium Bandini Studies film boasts an enormous cast filled to the brim with established actors. However, the sheer volume of cast members makes sense, as the film does not follow one single story. Instead, it gathers its source material from a volume by Richard Boswell, with multiple narratives in correspondence to different short stories by the author.

The film will feature actors like Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Abigail Spencer (This Is Where I Leave You), Kate Mara (House of Cards), Jimmy Kimmel (Jimmy Kimmel Live!), James Franco (127 Hours), Kristen Wiig (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty), Jim Parrack (True Blood), Rico Rodriguez (Modern Family), Tony Cox (Oz the Great and Powerful), Matthew Modine (Fury), and Amber Tamblyn (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants). With so many great actors, it looks like viewers will have a lot to look forward to in the film! Additionally, it will be interesting to see how so many big names work together and if the sheer volume of characters and stories will ultimately hinder the movie.

It also looks like Portman, Wiig, and Franco have several promising upcoming projects! Portman will star in the science fiction film Annihilation, based on Jeff VanderMeer’s surreal Southern Reach Trilogy. Wiig, meanwhile, will costar with Matt Damon in the movie Downsizing, which involves couple who physically shrinks down due to a voluntary scientific procedure. As for Franco, he will be playing the notorious Tommy Wiseau in a movie about the eventful filming of The Room.
