Tommy Wiseau Announces New Movie ‘Scary Love’

Since the release of The Disaster Artist last year, Tommy Wiseau has had sort of resurgence in his career. Based on the true story of the making of Wiseau’s 2003 cult hit The Room, Artist received a lot of praise, with James Franco (who also directed the film) even receiving a Golden Globe for his portrayal of the eccentric Wiseau.

As a result, the spotlight has been on Wiseau lately and with the newfound attention he’s announced his next project, Scary Love. The trailer debuted recently, through Hollywood Reporter. Wiseau and Greg Sestero’s next film Best F(r)iends also debuts later this month.

Set in a dystopian Los Angeles, the new film stars Wiseau as a bounty hunter who’s searching for a woman he loves – the one that got away. The new footage relays prime B-movie potential that levels with The Room. In the teaser, Wiseau is heard saying: “I used to love you!” It seems that after all these years, Lisa is still tearing him apart. Check out the new trailer below.
