This week, tickets for Christopher Nolan’s latest project, Tenet, will finally be on sale in the United Kingdom, his place of birth, in preparation for its upcoming release in number of European theaters. Per Variety, the tickets will be available starting Wednesday morning for a number of theater chains in the U.K. It was recently announced that Warner Bros. would have an August 26th global release for the countries that have been approved to reopen most movie theaters. It will be released in the United States as of September 3rd.
This is major news for movie lovers worldwide, as it potentially signifies a blockbuster film that has survived a summer of global delays and pushbacks. It also seems that it will do wonders for the struggling theater industry, as fans’ anticipation has only been rising since Tenet’s first delay from its original July 17th release date.
Tenet is Nolan’s eleventh film and first since 2017’s Dunkirk. It is spy thriller that stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Caine, and many more. If all goes well, Tenet seems to be one of the best bets for critical and box-office success of the year.
