Thomas Sadoski Set to Star in ‘The Mimic’

According to Variety, Thomas Sadoski (John Wick) is set to star in the indie The Mimic. Jake Robinson (Old 37), Gina Gershon (Inconceivable), and Austin Pendleton (Finding Dory) are also in the cast. Thomas F. Mazziotti (Charlie Hoboken) helms from his own script. Benjamin Cox is producer.

The comedy revolves around a man (Narrator) who is befriended by a new neighbor on the town newspaper’s staff and learns that imitation may not be the sincerest form of flattery. Over time, the neighbor’s wife becomes of interest to the Narrator.

Sadoski is best known for playing Don Keefer in the the HBO series The Newsroom and playing Matt in the CBS family comedy series Life in Pieces. On the big screen, he was recently in John Wick and John Wick: Chapter Two starring Keanu Reeves. He has been announced to join the cast of David Matalon’s romantic comedy Lemonade along with Jay Ellis (Shortwave) and Hannah Simone (Band Aid).

The Mimic is currently in post-production.
