After seven seasons as rebel biker and hacker ‘Juice’ Ortiz on the acclaimed FX drama Sons of Anarchy, Theo Rossi continues to branch out into features, signing on for the upcoming psychological thriller When the Bough Breaks.
Rossi joins Morris Chestnut (The Best Man Holiday), Regina Hall (Think Like a Man Too), and Jaz Sinclair (TV’s Rizzoli & Isles) in director Jon Cassar’s (TV’s 24) drama centering on a couple unable to conceive a child on their own who turn to a surrogate. The couple, however, is unprepared when the surrogate develops an obsession with the husband. Rossi is set to play the surrogate’s fiancé.
In addition to his turn in Bough, Rossi is currently in pre-production on Universal’s Low Riders, opposite Demian Bichir.
The Screen Gems production begins filming in New Orleans in February. No release date has been set.
