Just weeks after dropping the first trailer for their upcoming action thriller No Escape, the Weinstein Company has released the film’s theatrical poster.
No Escape is centered on an American family relocating to Southeast Asia just in time for a bloody coup. Now they must find their way out of the chaos or risk being executed. Owen Wilson (Inherent Vice, Midnight in Paris) portrays patriarch Jack Dwyer who must find a way to get his wife (Lake Bell) and daughter to safety. They enlist the aid of Pierce Brosnan’s military-trained Hammond to help them find sanctuary.
Brosnan, of course, is no stranger to action fans, what with his iconic role as James Bond in the 1990’s, and more recently in 2014’s November Man.
John Erik Dowdle directs from a script he penned with his brother Drew Dowdle. No Escape – originally titled The Coup when it screened at Cannes – is slated for a September 2015 release.
