Teaser Released for George Clooney’s ‘Suburbicon’

The new teaser trailer for Suburbicon has just aired, showing plenty of eventful footage. The movie, which is set in the 1950’s, is being produced by Paramount Pictures.

Directed by George Clooney, the film offers a stylized retro atmosphere in the face of fear and violence. Such an environment drives the characters to desperate and ill-conceived actions so that they can protect those they love. The trailer seems to promise a wild mix of genres: a crime tale, drama, and a revenge thriller.

Several well-known actors will be starring the film, which includes cast members like Oscar Isaac (A Most Violent Year), Matt Damon (The Martian), and Julianne Moore (Still Alice). Isaac has been on run of well-made and successful films over the past few years, ranging from the weighty, Oscar-winning Ex Machina to pop culture phenomenon Star Wars: The Force Awakens to indie film Inside Llewyn Davis. Damon, meanwhile, has returned to the Jason Bourne franchise while also continuing to produce films such as Manchester by the Sea. As for Moore, she will be playing the villain in the anticipated sequel movie, Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

The trailer can be watched below.

There’s only a short wait left until audiences can see the whole movie! Suburbicon will be released into theaters on October 27, 2017.
