You can now watch the creepy trailer for the upcoming movie Along Came the Devil, directed by Jason DeVan, courtesy of Gravitas Ventures. The trailer is dark and a little bloody, and features a seance, a ghost, and a demonic entity in the body of a girl complete with the “pea soup” ooze made famous by The Exorcist.
Along Came the Devil stars Sydney Sweeney (The Handmaid’s Tale) and Jessica Barth (Ted 2) as a young woman, Ashley, and her Aunt Tanya, respectively. After the death of Ashley’s mother, she moves in with her aunt and is driven to make contact with the spirit of her mother after experiencing terrifying visions. Of course, the contact with the spirit world awakens a demon, who terrorizes Ashley and everyone around her.
The movie hits theaters on August 10.
