‘Spider-man: Far From Home’ Adds ‘Homeland’ Actor Numan Acar

Numan Acar (Homeland), a Turkish born German actor and producer, will join the cast of Spider-man: Far From Home, as Dimitri. There isn’t much known about this character other than his name. However, in the comic, there is a Dmitri Smerdyakov, aka Chameleon, the master of disguise and the half-brother of villain Kraven the Hunter, who is a super-villain depicted in early Spider-man issues. 

J.B Smoove (Date Night, Clear History)  is also joining the film potentially with Jake Gyllenhaal ( Zodiac, Brokeback Mountain), who is in talks to play Mysterio, the baddie of the film.

Tom Holland is reprising his role as Spider-man; Michael Keaton (Birdman), Zendaya and Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny) also are expected to return. The director of Spider-Man: Far From Home will still be Jon Watts. Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna will also be the writing the script. 

The movie is set for release on July 5, 2019. Marvel Studio confirmed that in the 2019 sequel, Peter Parker will be finally out New York, and have an adventure in Europe.
