‘Spider-Man Brand New Day’ Still Sits On Top With 145 Million For Second Weekend

Spider-Man: Brand New Day stayed on top with 145 million for its sophomore weekend outing. The film continues to break records powering through to even higher heights. The Odyssey is in its fourth week, taking home 31.5 million for a second place finish, beating out newcomer One Night Only with 5.7 million for its opening premiere.

Super Trooper 3 premiered this week as well with 4 million, taking fourth place, just eking past Toy Story 5 with 3.9 million finishing in fifth place.

Minions & Monsters finished in sixth with 3.5 million in its sixth week. Moana came in seventh in its fifth week with 2.8 million. Also premiering this week is Eli Roth’s new film the Ice Cream Man, which underperformed with 2 million for its opening week.

Indie films filled out the rest of the top 10, with The Invite reeling in 717 thousand and the proshoot of Hadestown with 390 thousand.
