Seth Rogan is working with Nickelodeon Animation Studios and Paramount Pictures to bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the big screen once again.
The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will go back to its roots as an animated feature, unlike the last two films in the franchise, which were live-action.
Rogan, along with Evan Goldberg and James Weaver are helping to produce the film.
Brian Robbins, president, Kids & Family Entertainment at ViacomCBS stated, “Adding Seth, Evan and James’ genius to the humor and action that’s already an integral part of TMNT is going to make this a next-level reinvention of the property. I’m looking forward to see what they do, and I know that Ramsey Naito and her team are excited to take the Nick Animation Studio in another great direction with their first-ever CG-animated theatrical.”
Rogan, fellow producers, and director Jeff Rowe, are working to ensure that the latest CG animated feature lives up to other films in the TMNT franchise. Nickelodeon brought back the iconic franchise back in 2012 with the series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Due to the success of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Nickelodeon created another series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As of now, there has been no information released regarding the production or potential release dates of the film.
