See the First Gritty Trailer for ‘Let Him Go’ Starring Kevin Costner

Family is everything especially when it involves a child. Kevin Costner (a retired sheriff) and Diane Lane (his wife) star as grandparents who are at odds with saving their grandson at the hands of an off-the-grid family who are dangerous to say the least. That’s the plot for their upcoming film titled Let Him Go that is based on the novel of the same name by Larry Watson. The film was originally due to release in late August but due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, that date has now been moved to November 6.

The supporting cast includes Jeffrey Donovan, Lesley Manville, Will Brittain, Kayli Carter and Booboo Stewart. Thomas Bezucha (best known for writing and directing romantic comedies such as Monte Carlo and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society) makes his debut in the thriller/drama genre with Let Him Go. He is credited with writing the film’s screenplay, producing and helming the project as the director. Focus Features will be releasing the film in theaters on November 6 so mark your calendars.

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
