Sasha Calle Talks About Henry Cavill’s Take On ‘The Flash’

In a press conference for The Flashactress Sasha Calle who plays Supergirl opens up to journalist Damian Nakache that Henry Cavill who was the former Superman, went to see The Flash and “loved it.” Cavill’s positive reaction to the new DC film even though his role of playing Superman is at a standstill due to DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn choosing to reboot the character for Superman: Legacy.

The Flash is a movie that deals with the multiverse. Berry Allen (Ezra Miller) ventures into the past to change history that result in consequences for the future, which allows for familiar faces like Supergirl (Sasha Calle) and Batman (Michael Keaton) to return to the DC multiverse and for the introduction of brand new heroes and villains too. There’s a rumor according to Comicbook that The Flash is to reset the DC universe, with Berry Allen time-traveling causing the unknown for future films that have to fix his mistakes and save an unfortunate reality.

In The Flash, Cavill won’t have a cameo appearance as Superman, but the director Andy Muschietti has already revealed that the actor who will play Superman will be Nicolas Cage in the filmThe writer of The Flash is Christina Hodson, with the story from Joby Harold, and the producer is Barbara Muschietti. The Flash is to hit theaters on June 16th.
