Riddler Themed Promotional Website for ‘The Batman’ Has Been Given a Mysterious New Countdown

THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS OF THE BATMAN.

Comicbook has reported on an update to the Riddler’s website. The website rataalada.com serves as an easter egg to go along with the film The Batman. The website name was shown in a post-credits scene. When it first opens, there are many pieces of data shown on the screen which reference the film’s universe. The screen then goes black and then shows a clickable link that reads “Click for reward” and text that reads “Loading” with a percentage number next to it. The “reward” links to a jpg titled Its_Not_Over_Yet which shows a cryptic image. The percentage number has been increasing slowly and fans are wondering what will happen when that number reaches 100%.

The Batman released on March 4th, 2022. The film is the first to feature Robert Pattinson in the role of Batman. Other notable Batman characters who appear in the film are Catwoman, played by Zoë Kravitz, Alfred, played by Andy Serkis, Lieutenant Gordon (set up to eventually be promoted to Commissioner Gordon), played by Jeffrey Wright, The Penguin, played by Colin Farrel, and the aforementioned Riddler, played by Paul Dano. The film was directed by Matt Reeves, known for War of the Planet of the Apes.

Jackson Fanelli: I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. My life passions revolve around artistic expression through both writing and acting. I was introduced to the arts through acting in musicals and plays. I hope to pursue screenwriting for television.
