Following the success of 2013’s Grand Central, the first trailer for Rebecca Zlotowski‘s Planetarium has been released.
Starring Natalie Portman and Lily-Rose Depp, Planetarium follows two American sisters in 1930’s Paris. Believed to be able to communicate with otherworldly spirits, their popularity as mediums grow and are able to garner the attention of a visionary French film producer. Jealousy and betrayal between siblings are apparent in this fantasy filled drama. Emmanuel Salinger, Amira Casar, Pierre Salvadori, and Louis Garrel round out the rest of the cast. The trailer once again proves while Planetarium may have a simple story, Zlotowski completely capable of telling it with beautiful visuals, and intrigue.
The film is set to show at Venice and the Toronto International Film Festival. Although the film does not have US distribution rights yet, Planetarium will release November 16th in France.
