Pennywise and The Loser Club Return in First Teaser for ‘It Chapter 2’!

After It made a splash at the box office, becoming the highest grossing R-rated horror film of all time with $700 million in sales, fans of the film knew that a sequel was sure to be made. As with the Stephen King novel of the same name published in 1986, the return of Pennywise is here and the seven children who met him twenty-seven years ago are back to put an end to his reign of terror.

The Loser Club is grown up and now that some time has passed, all seven are brought together to deal with the threat they all faced when they were children. Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) is back as the entity that besieged the town of Derry, Maine. The cast will include the child actors from the first film but now they are adults so here’s the roster for the adult actors.

Jessica Chastain- Beverly Marsh

James McAvoy- Bill Denbrough

Jay Ryan- Ben Hanscom

Bill Hader- Richie Tozer

Isaiah Mustafa- Mike Hanlon

James Ransone- Eddie Kaspbrak

Andy Bean- Stan Uris

It Chapter 2 is set to be released on September 6, 2019, and Director Andy Muschietti returns while Gary Dauberman (co-writer of the first film) is given the sole writing credit for Chapter 2. New Line Cinema is producing while Warner Bros is handling the distribution.

Check out the first look for the film that is sure to be as successful, if not as scary, as the first film two years ago.

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
