Paramount and Daily Show Trevor Noah Will Colloborate On Animated Movie

After Jon Stewart quit hosting the The Daily Show, South African comedian Trevor Noah took his place. While The Daily Show is what Noah is best known for he has appeared in other movie and TV projects like Black Panther and American Vandal. Noah has earned Emmy awards and nominations.

Now according to Screen Rant reports that Trevor Noah is collaborating with Paramount Animation on a new project. This project is going to be a feature length animated movie. While the plot of the movie has yet to be revealed, Noah has promised that the movie’s story will reflect our current time and it will have comedic elements.

Writers Jon Pollack and Jonathan Groff will be writing the script for the movie. Pollack was a writer for the television show Modern Family, and Groff is a writer on the sitcom Black-ish. 

Paramount Animation is responsible for the latest two SpongeBob SquarePants movies, Sherlock Gnomes, and Wonder Park. The studio is also working on a lot of other upcoming projects including Trevor Noah’s untitled project.

At this time there are not a lot of details about this movie. Currently it is unknown when Noah’s movie will be released, what it is going to be about, or who it will star in it, or who will direct it.
