Olivia Wilde’s ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Releases First Trailer

The highly anticipated psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles has just dropped its first trailer. The new footage shows madly in love Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles) living their lives in 1950s California along with Jack’s co-workers and their wives. All the couples seem to be living the dream until Alice begins to question what it is her husband is really doing at work, her nosiness not only causing problems for her marriage but from the greater forces of Jack’s job.

The trailer was screened for the first time last week at CinemaCon, but not without problems for director Olivia Wilde, where a woman handed her an envelope containing custody papers from Wilde’s former ex-husband Jason Sudeikis, in which he says he has no prior knowledge of the delivery.

This is a movie that gas been filming since the height of quarantine. With the young popular star power provided by Pugh and Styles, a lot of paparazzi photos exist around the web of them filming in California. This will be Styles third acting credit, joining Dunkirk and an anticipated larger role in Marvel’s Eternals. Meanwhile, this Warner Brothers picture will join Pugh’s hoard of successful movies.

While primarily an actress in people’s minds, this is not Olivia Wilde’s first time in the directors chair as the top of the production food chain. This will be her fourth time directing a film, and received raving fan reviews for her work on Booksmart in 2019. Wilde will also act in the film. Don’t Worry Darling is set to hit theaters on September 23. Watch the trailer below.
