Netflix is riding the feminist wave of revolution with its documentary, Seeing Allred, and the movie’s first stop is the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
The hard-hitting movie follows Allred through decades of court battles as she supported women in a whole host of injustices—many of them high-profile. Not only does the film cover past cases (featuring old tv show interviews and news clips), it also delves into Allred’s past and the abuse she endured. Allred has long been a champion of the oppressed and Seeing Allred is a testimony to exactly what a life-long fight for women’s rights looks like.
