Marvel has released new trailer and poster for the new movie The Marvels. The Marvels will be released to theaters on November 10th. Captain Marvel is returning to reclaim her identity and avenge the Supreme Intelligence. However, she encounters some unintended consequences as she makes her way through the destabilized universe. She is sent into an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary. Two other superheroes become entangled in her powers in the wormhole, creating the Marvels. The other two superheroes are Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) and S.A.B.E.R., astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau (Carol’s estranged niece). They must work together to save the universe.
Brie Larson is coming back as Captain Marvel. She is joined by Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan as Ms. Marvel.
The first trailer was released in April on Good Morning America, and showed the trio uniting together for the first time under Nick Fury’s direction (Samuel L. Jackson). The villain Dar-Ben is played by Zawe Ashton, who’s attempting to destroy several worlds.The heavily anticipated second trailer was released Thursday night.
The new poster stands apart from the first, which had the trio separate from one another. Here, the group are place alongside one another ready to take on any enemy. Additionally, Nick Fury stands center, as the creator of this team.
The Marvels is part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be the 33rd installment.
