New ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ Trailer Reunites Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton

The Terminator franchise is up and running again, literally. The action-packed trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate is finally out, reuniting the original stars of the first films, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, as their characters the T-800 Terminator and Sarah Conner. The film also stars Mackenzie Davis as Grace, a cyborg/human hybrid, and Natalia Reyes as Dani Ramos, the new target for extermination by the new terminator prototype Rev-9, played Gabriel Luna. Edward Furlong, who first played protagonist John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, will reprise his role after twenty-eight years.

The trailer shows Grace and Sarah teaming up to defend Dani from Rev-9. Grace takes Sarah to meet an aging T-800, who she hopes will join them in defending Dani. Sarah immediately tries to kill T-800, but after Grace stops her, Sarah vows to kill T-800 when they have successfully protected Dani. The trailer ends with Sarah saying the most famous line from the franchise: I’ll be back.
