The new Snoop Dogg biopic Snoop casts son of recording artist D-Angelo, Swayvo Twain, to portray Biggie Smalls. Christopher George Latore Wallace (Biggie Smalls) was a recording artist who was signed to Sean John Combs’ (P-Diddy) record label, Bad Boy Records, during the 90s. He was a part of the rap rivalry between the East Coast and West Coast, with Snoop Dogg being from the latter.
The movie is to star Jonathan Daviss (Outer Banks) as Snoop Dogg and to be directed by Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow). Other confirmed castings include Bentley Green (Snowfall) as RBX, Lauren London (ATL) as Snoop Dogg’s mom, Algee Smith (Judas and the Black Messiah) as Warren G, Tre Hale (Love and Monsters) as Suge Knight, Camron Jones (Panic) as Tupac Shakur, Corey Champagne (A Jazzman’s Blues), Olly Sholoton (Bel-Air) as Kurupt, and Myles Bullock (BMF) as Dr. Dre.
