A new trailer for the upcoming film, What Men Want, has just been released. This new trailer shows off some scenes and jokes that hadn’t been revealed in the earlier trailers. This is a Red Band trailer so of course some of the new footage is probably a bit too risqué to show in theaters, unless it is being shown before an R-rated movie. What Men Want is set to release on February 8, but it currently is not rated.
What Men Want is a gender-flipped spiritual sequel to the 2000 movie What Women Want, which starred Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt. Originally Mel Gibson played a misogynist who gained the ability to read women’s thoughts. In the new movie Taraji P. Henson is playing the Mel Gibson role. Henson plays Ali Daves, a powerful female sports agent who is frustrated in a male dominated industry, until she gains the ability to read men’s thoughts.
Other actors in What Men Want include Aldis Hodge, Tracy Morgan, and Shaquille O’Neal. However, there is no mention about Mel Gibson making a cameo in this new film. While it is possible that he could show up, it is probably safe to say that he won’t be making an appearance.
