New Promotional Art Released for Vision in “Avengers: Age Ultron”

Marvel has released new promotional art for Avengers: Age of Ultronincluding a first look at Vision (being played by Paul Bettany). Along with the image, the art includes a description of the character that reveals its origin, giving potential plot points for the film.

The biography states:

Programmed by the combined geniuses of Tony Stark & Bruce Banner and imparted with the ability to fly, project intense energy beams and change the density of his form, the Vision has proved himself a worthy hero, aiding the Avengers in their struggle against the evil A.I. Ultron.”

The description gives hints as to how the Avengers will take down Ultron (James Spader) in the film. It looks like Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk, who had their share of differences in the first film, will have to team up to build Vision. Ultron is an A.I. built by Tony Stark that turns on the Avengers.

Vision is also voiced by Paul Bettany, who has voiced Iron Man’s A.I. companion, Jarvis, in Iron ManIron Man 2, The Avengers, and Iron Man 3. Bettany is also credited as Jarvis in the second Avengers film, so it looks like Stark will be uploading that character as Vision. It will be interesting to see how the character will differ in body to go with the voice. Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to release May 1, 2015.
