New Photos Of ‘Fantastic Beasts’ Sequel Have Been Released

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has been kept pretty under wraps since its inception. We have only received little snippets like the cast photo and new actors joining the cast. We have now received new photos from the set, giving some insight into what might be happening in the film.

The Crimes of Grindelwald will follow just a little time after the first film. Gellert Grindelwald, the evil wizard that was captured by Newt Scamander and The Magical Congress of the United States of America, has officially escaped from custody as he promised in the first film, and is now creating a pure-blood wizard army that will take over and rule over all non-magical beings. Newt is now tasked by his teacher Albus Dumbledore to return to America in order to fight against Grindelwald and his schemes.

A star-studded cast will grace the screen for the new Fantastic Beasts, including Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Zoe Kravitz, and Callum Turner. The film is being directed by David Yates with a screenplay by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.

The film is set to release in November 16, 2018. Check out the first look images below, featuring Depp as Gellert Grindelwald and Jude Law as the young Albus Dumbledore.
