The highest-earning animated film of all time returns to the big screen! Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven, played by Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff, and Frank Welker respectively, will return to their respective roles for Frozen II. This time, the group will be venturing beyond the borders of Arendelle, which includes going across the enchanted land to parts unknown.
The trailer begins with a scene featured in the film’s teaser clip this past February. Elsa dons a new outfit and attempts to surmount the stormy seas by using her powers to create an icy pathway for herself. The rest of the trailer depicts Grand Pabbie, the wise troll who was introduced in the first Frozen film, giving advice to Anna and detailing the next steps in her journey with Elsa. Anna’s main objective is to search for the truth and protect Elsa as they seek out the origins of Elsa’s powers. New obstacles and foes appear for the sisters along the way.
Santino Fontana, who played Hans in the first film, will be returning. Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) and Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) will be new additions to the animated sequel.
