

New footage has been released for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The footage originates from an Official Franchise Lookback featurette uploaded by Lionsgate on Friday. The Featurette uses footage from all the previous Hunger Games movies to create a retrospective of the franchise. The new footage comes in at the very end and features new looks at the film’s cast, comparing them to their older counterparts from previous movies. These include Elle Fanning as Elfie Trinket (originally played by Elizabeth Banks), Kieran Culkin as Caesar Flickerman (Originally played by Stanley Tucci), Jesse Plemons as Plutarch Heavensbee (originally played by Phillip Seymour Hoffman), and Kelvin Harrison Jr as Beetee Latier (originally played by Jeffrey Wright). Other members of the cast shown in the first look include President Cornelius Snow (played by Donald Sutherland in the original Hunger Games movies and by Tom Blyth in Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes), Lili Taylor as Mags Flanagan (originally played by Lynn Cohen), Maya Hawke as Wiress (originally played by Amanda Plummer), and Joseph Zada as Haymitch Abernathy (originally played by Woody Harrelson).
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is directed by Francis Lawrence, who has directed all the previous Hunger Games movies since Catching Fire. The film, like the previous Hunger Games movie, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, is a prequel based on Suzanne Collins’s book and follows a young Haymitch Abernathy during the events before, during, and following the 50th Annual Hunger Games. Other cast members include Glenn Close, McKenna Grace, Ben Wang, Billy Porter, Whitney Peak, and Iris Apatow.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping will be released in theaters on November 20. The new footage can be viewed below:
