Verdi mentioned that the movie would’ve entered pre-production on September 1st in Rhode Island, but production will be pushed back to late 2024. Verdi stated, “With the WGA already on strike and a possible SAG strike looming, pushing this film was the right thing to do.” He further explains that he supports their efforts and current strikes and looks forward to “pursuing this special project when the dust has settled in 2024, and hopefully by then SAG and WGA have received a fair deal that both unions are satisfied with.”
