‘Molly’s Game’ Second Trailer Focuses on the Importance of Anonymity

We have been keeping an eye on Molly’s Game for quite some time now, with its surprisingly intense story and rarely- discussed source material. The film has received its second official trailer and continues to build our hype for the film:

Molly’s Game follows the story of former skier Molly Bloom who, from her fairly normal roots, created one of the largest gambling rings in the United States and was eventually targeted by the FBI. Bloom focused heavily on lavishing her guests with the fairest poker games and the most expensive foods and wine, which attracted anyone from high-ranking politicians to billionaires. Eventually, the FBI caught her, seizing all of her money. However, in an interesting turn of events, as a form of protection, she refused to out her guests or her position in the games.

Jessica Chastain (The Martian, The Help) leads the star-studded cast, which includes Idris Elba (Pacific Rim, Thor), Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Superbad), Kevin Costner (Dances With Wolves, The Untouchables), and Chris O’Dowd (St. Vincent, Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children). The film is being directed and written by Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, Moneyball), and will release on November 22nd, 2017, just in time for nominations.
