Marvel has released a new trailer for Captain America: Brave New World, the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is scheduled for release on Feb. 14, 2025.
The newest installment in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe features Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) taking on the role of Captain America following Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) departure. The latest trailer arrives four months after Marvel released an official teaser for the film.
Both trailers provide a first look at Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross, who is revealed to be Red Hulk in the latest footage. Ross/Red Hulk is set to be a major character within the film and Marvel franchise.
The studio unveiled the newest trailer after the D23 Brazil Expo presentation on Nov. 9. Also released was a new teaser for Thunderbolts, another Marvel project scheduled for release later this year. The pair of films will close out Phase 5 of the MCU.
The release of Brave New World follows Marvel’s most recent 2024 release, Deadpool vs. Wolverine. Also released by the studio this year were the WandaVision spin-off series Agatha All Along and the animated show X-Men ‘97, both streaming on Disney+.
Marvel plans to follow Brave New World and Thunderbolts with two more Avengers movies, as well as the highly anticipated The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
