Jennifer Kaytin Robinson take on the Alfred Hitchcock classic Strangers On a Train for Netflix has added a few more cast members to the dark comedy Strangers. The added cast includes Austin Abrams (Dash & Lily), Alisha Boe (13 Reasons Why), Talia Ryder (West Side Story), Paris Berelc (Alexa & Katie), Jonathan Daviss (Outer Banks), Maia Reficco (Next To Normal) and Ava Capri (Love, Victor).
Already announced to join Strangers includes Camila Mendes (Riverdale), Maya Hawke (Little Woman), Rish Shah (Ms. Marvel), and Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones).
Robinson made her directorial feature debut with Someone Great, which stars Gina Rodriguez, Brittany Snow, DeWanda Wise, and LaKeith Stanfield.
Strangers is the second film that Robinson and Netflix have worked together on, with Someone Great being the first.
Based on a script that Robinson co-wrote with Celeste Ballard and the premise of the dark comedy is two strangers who scheme to murder someone that the other person wants gone.
Mendes is set to play the role of Drea, and Hawke is set to play the role of Eleanor, and they team up to go after their bullies. There isn’t much more information about the dark comedy yet. A release date is unknown.
Strangers is currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
