Liam Neeson is Caught in a Criminal Conspiracy in ‘The Commuter’

Liam Neeson proves that age is nothing and that he can still kick butt even at 65! Jaume Collet-Serra and Liam Neeson are back for the fourth time in the new action/thriller The Commuter. Together they’ve worked on Unknown, Non-Stop, and Run all Night and are back to bring more thrills to the big screen. The Commuter tells the story of businessman (Neeson) who is approached by a stranger (Vera Farmiga) on the commuter rail and is eventually involved in a criminal conspiracy. The film is penned by Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi (Paradise Lost) and will be distributed by Lionsgate and StudioCanal.

Other cast members include Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), Elizabeth McGovern (TV’s Downton Abbey), Jonathan Banks (Better Call Saul), and Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring). Filming began in July of 2016 in England and was later moved to New York City. The film was originally scheduled to be released on October 13, but was pushed to January 19, 2018.

A trailer has yet to be released but the teaser photo does makes us wonder what is happening on that commuter train. We will keep updated on The Commuter and look forward to the trailer as soon as it’s released.

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
