Liam Neeson is a Father Hell-Bent on Revenge in ‘Cold Pursuit’ Trailer

Liam Neeson has amassed quite a career for himself, mainly due to his action films over the past decade. This time around Neeson portrays a father who learns of his son’s death, believes that drug dealers may be responsible and seeks justice on his own terms. While the idea is nothing new, this movie is actually a loose remake of a Norwegian film titled In Order of Disappearance. The film’s director Hans Petter Moland returns to helm this project. The script is being written by Frank Baldwin. The original film was a black comedy but looking at the trailer for Cold Pursuit, this instills more thrills than laughs.

Along with Neeson, the cast includes Laura Dern (Jurassic Park), Emmy Rossum (Shameless), Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient Express), and William Forsythe (The Little Mermaid) just to name a few. StudioCanal and Summit Entertainment are the production companies involved while Summit Entertainment is distributing the film.

The film is scheduled to be released on February 8, 2019. Don’t forget to check out the trailer below.

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
