Jeff Bridges, Chris Hemsworth in Talks For A ‘Bad Time’ Film

Two hugely popular actors are in talks for what appears to be an action film based in a hotel. According to Empire, both Chris Hemsworth and Jeff Bridges are currently discussing contracts in order to join the cast of Bad Times at the El Royale.

Set in the 60’s, Bad Times at the El Royale will focus on the titular El Royale, a nasty old hotel at Lake Tahoe, California. There, a variety of different misfits with various objectives clash together, likely causing chaos for the residents and guests. Currently, no one is truly confirmed for the cast, and currently Hemsworth and Bridges do not have official roles.

Hemsworth is the actor behind the powerful Nordic thunder god Thor in the Marvel cinematic universe as well as Formula One driver James Hunt in the remarkable racing film Rush. Bridges is the legendary actor behind the man, myth, and legend “The Dude” from The Big Lebowski as well as the king of digital space Kevin Flynn in Tron. These two are brought together by director Drew Goddard, who has taken the helm for this film, joining Hemsworth on their second film together, with the first being Cabin in the Woods. We will be very excited to see if both actors sign on, and what other actors and actresses also sign on to the project.
