The untitled action comedy starring Bruce Willis has added three more to its ranks: Jason Momoa, Famke Janssen, and Thomas Middleditch. They’ll join Willis’ character, a private detective whose personal and professional lives come together when his dog is stolen by a gang.
Momoa is in negotiations to play a gang leader who ends up with Willis’ dog and forces the private detective to do some jobs for him for the dog’s return, while Middleditch is set to play Willis’ employee and Janssen will play his sister-in-law. The action-comedy is to be directed by Mark and Robb Cullen, who also wrote Willis’ previous comedy Cop Out.
Nicolas Chartier, Zev Foreman, and Lauren Ford are set to produce with Patrick Newall working as executive producer. Production on the movie is set to start in late June in Los Angeles.
Jason Momoa has also nabbed the role of Aquaman in the upcoming DC Cinematic Universe movies. Famke Janssen is working on several projects, including Every Good Boy Does Fine and Kickback, while Thomas Middleditch is working on Henchmen, Joshy, and Captain Underpants. Bruce Willis himself is working on several other projects, including Rock the Kasbah and an untitled Woody Allen project.
The untitled movie does not yet have a release date.
