The Stunt Driver has been picked up by the Independent Film Company before the Toronto Film Festival world premiere. The comedy film stars Jay Baruchel (How To Train Your Dragon, This is the End), Ben Foster (Hell or High Water, Christy), Ed Helms (We’re The Millers, The Hangover), Dan Bakkedahl (Buddy Games, Dinner with the Parents) and Laurence Leboeuf (Two Women, Transplant), Michael Dowse (The F Word, Stuber) directs and writes the screenplay.
Dowse and Jennifer Wilson (The Killer Among Us, Tales from the Grave: The Movie) produce with Film Cardinal. The executive producers include Cameron MacLaren (SkyMed, Last We Left Off), Lisa Wolofsky (Adulthood, Brain on Fire), Andrew Frank (A Tribe Called Love, The Apprentice) with Mongrel Media and James Pugh (LEGO The Incredibles, Needle in the Hay) and Dave Bishop (The Discovery, Possessor) with Protagonist Pictures.
