Hayden Christensen is looking to make his return to the silver screen with First Kill, where he will co-star with Bruce Willis. He will be playing Will, a Wall Street broker who has his son kidnapped after witnessing a robbery and murder, and must retrieve the missing money while dodging the police to save his son. Christensen, known for his rather controversial role as Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels, has starred in but a few films after his time as the young Darth Vader, but none of those films ever reached critical or commercial success. He will also be featuring in Numb, at the Edge of End, with a current release date in 2017.
Willis, known for his many roles in action films including the Die Hard franchise and The Fifth Element, will be playing the Police Chief, which Christensen’s struggles to work with because of the deal made by the criminals. First Kill is being directed by Steven C. Miller, known for his heavy action films Marauders and Extraction, which also featured Willis as main characters. It is written by Nick Gordon, a fairly new writer with only two other films under his belt. First Kill will be exploding into theaters July 21st.
