The 2021 Golden Globes Awards have come to an end, giving us our first major list of award honored films from the hectic year of 2020. This ceremony was notably different from past years due to the now very familiar streamed-from-home format from which all nominees were seen. However, this did not prevent some memorable moments from being made nor from being able to recognize the best works in film over the past year.
The biggest awards of the night went to Chloe Zhao’s Nomadland, which took home Best Director and Best Drama for motion pictures. Borat Subsequent Moviefilm also took home major awards in the Best Actor and Best Picture in the Musical or Comedy categories.
