Golden Globe Award Winners

The first major award show for the film season is officially here! The Golden Globes is the precursor to what the rest of the award shows will bring and set a precedence for possible Oscar predictions. This year is a landmark one, with a lot of blockbuster films and performances are front and center of the action.

There were a lot of surprises this year, especially the unexpected runaway by Green Book and Bohemian Rhapsody. On the other hand, A Star is Born, though the darling of awards season, took home one of the expected awards, but not the one for Lady Gaga, with Glenn Close beating her out for Best Actress in a Drama. Likewise, and industry favorite, Roma, took home some major accolades in multiple categories.
