Orion Pictures has released the first full trailer for Nicholas McCarthy’s new movie The Prodigy. Check it out below.
The horror thriller stars Taylor Schilling (TV’s Orange is the New Black) as the loving-but-frightened mother of a young boy (It’s Jackson Robert Scott) whose innocent façade seems to be covering up a disturbing and maybe even evil nature. Miles is a genius, with “intelligence off the charts,” but even Miles himself knows something is wrong with him. When his mother takes him to a therapist, the diagnosis is an ominous “Miles is dangerous.”
Peter Mooney (Keely and Du), Brittany Allen (TV’s Taken) and Colm Feore (Greta) are also in the cast. The script was penned by Jeff Buhler (The Midnight Meat Train). Tripp Vinson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) is producing.
