One of Universal Pictures’ upcoming films Ticket to Paradise starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts has just released its official trailer. The rom-com by Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again director Ol Parker is the silver screen reunion of Clooney and Roberts, best known for their together in the Ocean’s Eleven franchise, and their first time working together since their 2016 movie Money Monster.
The film follows a once impulsively married but long time divorced couple who, after their daughter impulsively marries a man on her graduation trip to Bali, follow her out there to convince her not to make the mistake that they made many years ago. The trailer call’s attention to the rocky relationship between the two parents, including some great dialogue featured in the film. In addition to directing the project, Parker wrote the script alongside Daniel Pipski.
The film also stars Booksmart‘s Kaitlyn Dever as Clooney and Roberts’ daughter, as well as Billie Lourd (also of Booksmart) and Lucas Bravo from Emily in Paris.
Ticket to Paradise is scheduled for theatrical release on October 21st, and 45 days after its release in theaters the film will be available for streaming on Peacock.
