Fortnite to Hold Digital Movie Night Featuring Christopher Nolan Films

In different countries around the world, the ever-popular game Fortnite will be again breaking new grounds, as it will allow players to view one of three full-length Christopher Nolan movies before playing Battle Royale, per IGN. At the Movie Nite at Battle Royale’s Big Screen, players in specific countries will be able to see either Inception (2010), Batman Begins (2005), or The Prestige (2006). For example, in America, players can see Inception, and in the UK they will be treated to The Prestige.

This isn’t the first time Fortnite has premiered videos to users, and it also isn’t the first time they have worked with Nolan, as in May, the trailer for his newest film Tenet, premed on the Battle Royale’s Big Screen, as well. Tenet is set to be released this August.

Fortnite has also experimented with having live, yet virtual shows and concerts being put on as well, as rap superstar Travis Scott offered an in-game performance on the game last month. Diplo and Young Thug are also set to perform on the game.

While the coronavirus pandemic has limited our exposure to films, new trailers, and concerts, Fortnite has certainly been using its platform to be at the forefront of a new, digitally-premiering revolution.
