Final ‘Uncharted’ Trailer Drops, Teases Banter and Adventure

Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) in Columbia Pictures' UNCHARTED.

Just less than a month from the film’s release, the final trailer for Uncharted has dropped, flaunting a star-studded cast and thrilling action sequences.

The film stars Tom Holland in another franchise role just a few months after his massively successful outing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Mark Wahlberg stars opposite Holland and they are joined by Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas.

The official synopsis reads: “Street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother…but only if they can learn to work together.”

The final trailer teases this adventure and focuses on Nathan (Holland) and Sully’s (Wahlberg) banter and showcases the several large action sequences that the film will feature.

Uncharted is based on the massively popular PlayStation game of the same name, developed by Naughty Dog. Amy Hennig, the writer of the game stories, is given writing credits along with Rafe Lee Judkins, Matt Holloway, and Art Marcum. The film is directed by Ruben Fleisher whose previous credits include Zombieland, Zombieland: Double Tap, and Venom.

Uncharted hits theaters on February 18, 2022. Watch the trailer below.
