Film Panels Announced for Comic-Con 2017

Convention season is officially upon us now that the movie panel lineup has been released for San Diego Comic-Con. The event is being held at its annual convention center location from Thursday July 20 through Sunday July 23 and already has a huge list of big name movies filling up the infamous Hall H. Warner Bros. is currently in the lead with promising releases that will include Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One and the upcoming Justice League superhero team-up, which is sure to draw hordes of crowds as well as talent in attendance.

As for the mysterious titles on the list, starting with the “TBA” film for 2oth Century Fox, the company has several hot projects coming out next year such as X-Men spinoffs New Mutants and Dark Phoenix. They could also be planning previews for Deadpool 2, Alita: Battle Angel, and/or The Predator. Netflix has historically been bit tougher to pin down, although one of their big titles coming up that we know of is Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, starring Robert De Niro. Given all we know about the film already, and the intricate visual effects going into it, it is less likely that this will be Netflix’s surprise. But, never say never, since it was also a surprise for Scorsese to team up with the streaming service in the first place.
